Born from the artistic legacy of Renato Scrollavezza, the Scrollavezza Academy is an international benchmark for excellence in violin making.
Founded in 1975 and now directed by Elisa Scrollavezza and
Andrea Zanrè, the school welcomes students from all over the world on a five-year course of advanced training, where tradition
and innovation intertwine in the creation of unique instruments.
A journey into the heart of violin making, discovering the knowledge, technique and passion that give voice to wood.
At the Academy, each student embarks on a five-year immersive journey to learn the art of violin making to the highest standards of craftsmanship.
The teaching approach, based on direct experience and attention to detail, trains professionals capable of creating unique instruments, respecting tradition and with an eye to the future.






THE HEADQUARTER.
The school has been based since 2006 in Noceto (PR) Piazza Garibaldi 1, in the prestigious “Castle of Music,” in which the museum that houses the valuable Scrollavezza Collection, with the Maestro’s instruments on public display, has also been set up, and is managed by the Associazione Liuteria Parmense.
